Dr. Strawser currently resides in Orlando, Florida, where he is a father of three adult children, a middle school teacher, and a retired college professor. He loves Jesus and is decidedly a work-in-progress. Professionally, he is a passionate advocate for minorities and the underrepresented (in all countries).
Dr. Strawser writes and speaks extensively on equity issues in STEM and has presented nationally on this topic. He believes that educators have a responsibility to encourage and inspire underrepresented minorities and females to participate in science and engineering.
